While this isn’t an “iStrategyLabs Sponsored Event”, I felt it’s important to post an invitation here for the The Technoliday Party that I’ll be co-hosting. Details are here:

technoloday.jpg

The Technoliday Party – a holiday event focused on celebrating the broader tech/creative/startup community with the intention of raising funds for the One Laptop Per Child Foundation.

The event will take place on 12.6.07 from 7pm to 9pm at Lotus Lounge at 1420 K Street NW, Washington DC and will feature an open bar and sushi.

Please RSVP here: http://technoliday.eventbrite.com/

For every $200 we raise, we’ll be funding the purchase of a laptop for a child. Half of these laptops will be distributed in 3rd world countries via One Laptop Per Child, while the other half will be distributed in the greater DC area via Greater DC Cares and their network of worthy community organizations.

It’s week 10 of iStrategyLabs existence and the past two weeks have been the most intense so far.

Here’s a quick look at what iStrategyLabs has been up to:

Sponsored and participated in DC StartupWeekend where 74 of DC’s creatives, technologists, and strategists created a startup in 54 hours.

HolaNeighbor was born through this effort.

And our launch party is November 3rd at 9am. RSVP here.

Big thanks to Viget Labs for their hospitality.

iStrategyLabs has been in discussions with a group in DC who is focused on the travel industry exclusively and could be absorbed in the coming months to build & power their interactive strategy and integrated media planning and buying division. More to come.
