Giving You $50,000 for Office Space and Lot of Other Fun Things

Community Development, Content Creation, Interactive Strategy

There’s no adjective to describe the kind of busy that iStrategyLabs is right now. Very/incredibly/super/overly etc. just doesn’t cut it.

You’ll see why below (and I won’t even mention the client work), but if there’s one thing I hope you read and respond to it’s this:

iStrategyLabs is looking for a great office space [in] DC. If you have space for me + an apprentice please email me (our tech/creative/production/strategy team members work remotely). I’m offering the following and am open to negotiation:

  • $50,000 per year in Interactive Strategy, Experiential Marketing, and/or Content Creation services – we can do some significant brand building for you with that allocation
  • A 1-2 year commitment based on your preference (startup October 1st most likely)
  • If you’re a digital/PR/marketing agency, you can use that $50k for your client work and bill them for it!
  • If you’re a startup…well…this is perfect for you…

Now on to the fun stuff: The following recap was originally distributed Peter Corbett/iStrategyLabs’ shiny new newsletter ANTIBYTE (subscribe here).

“The Ins and Outs of Viral Video”

I’m honored to be joining Seth Godin, Chris Brogan and a host of other marketing luminaries as a speaker at the Inbound Marketing Summit in Cambridge, MA on 9/8. I’ve been asked to present at comprehensive guide to conceptualizing, producing and distributing ‘viral video’. I’ll be highlighting iStrategyLabs recent work on GEICO’s iHeartCavemen.com campaign, which combined the 3 core service iStrategyLabs offers – Interactive Strategy, Experiential Marketing and Content Creation. Some of the vids w/ 100k+ total views can be found here. I’ll also provide a host of tactics that any marketer can use when deploying a campaign like this, as well as sharing additional insights gleaned from the best campaigns on the web. Twin Tech II is Happening 9/18
“Fusing The Capital Region’s Veteran and Emerging Technology Communities”

tt2.pngOn July 17th, the Northern Virginia Technology Council and iStrategyLabs hosted The Twin Tech Party – an occasion marked by the coming together of about 700 of the Capital Region’s emerging tech stars and veteran entrepreneurs. A full recap of the coverage including links to Washington Post articles and Twin Tech I photos and videos can be found here. It’s our pleasure to announce that Twin Tech II will be held on September 18th, 2008 from 6pm to 9pm.

The format remains the same: the brightest minds in the tech/venture space will be on hand to mix and mingle with one another during a happy hour style meet-up. An open bar will be made available through the generosity of our sponsors.
There are currently 550 people RSVP’d for the event. Grab a ticket here before we run out – we’re going to try to accommodate 1000 if we can.
